Book Series : Agatha Christies Third Girl

I always enjoyed watching those detective TV series such as Vyomkesh Bakshi, Ek shunya shunya , Hello Inspector, Karamachand. I remember watching them during school days.  I think most of us like to read  such detective novels too .What readers like about detective or mysterious stories is intellectual challenge. It keeps your brain working at the background when you are reading the novel.Mystery always starts with problem, a crime to be more precise. Then it offers some clues to the readers . Human mind always  have a tendency to try out things for themselves. All the clues present you a puzzle and you get so much engrossed in it that sometimes you feel it is your responsibility to join those broken pieces , find out the missing links and then join everything to solve the puzzle.I really enjoy this.Author leaves behind the clues for us to follow. These novels keeps you hanging till the end.

After a long time I have read Agatha Christies mysterious novel 'Third Girl'.
Three young woman share a London flat. The first one is secretary. The second one is artist.and third one Miss Norma Restarick  interupts detective Poirots breakfast confessing that she has committed a murder and then disappears. Mystery usually starts with murder but in this novel it takes quite a lot of time to find out  who has been killed?

Young Norma belongs to rich family .Detective Poirot learns about her family including , her stepmother various other characters and tries to find a pattern. He tries to find hard evidence against the act of murder and mysterious girl Norma. The girl has gone crazy and doubts herself..

It  surely surprises you at the end when mystery is unveiled.
Novel is entertaining page turner.

Agatha Christie is known throughout the world as queen of crime. Her books have sold billion copies. She also wrote some romantic novels but she is best remembered for her detective novels.

There is a long list of her detective books printed on the book cover. I am planning to read all of them You may call it over enthusiasm but  it certainly occupies your mind , the book I mean and that is where the author is successful I believe..
